Thank you! 62 today (social security keeps calling my name, but I am taking it year by year.) Tomorrow hubby and I are going to Cape May to have dinner at the Lobster House (weekends are too crowded, and shore traffic is a mess). Be assured we will be stopping at many thrift shops and antique malls.

That works for some items, but they already know that the Persian donkey beads and some other traditional items are originally from Iran.

I realized that, but I am so far behind the times, I thought ebay still owned paypal (they did a spin-off in 2015). :p

So do I. They are a marriage ( ceremony was this morning!)rather than a set but they go very well together.
I've noticed something unusual about them though that the clasp is meant to be worn at the front as the biggest beads are right next to the clasp and the smaller ones go behind the neck. Not seen one like that before.

I actually have a graduated silver freshwater pearl necklace like that....it took me awhile to figure out how to work the clasp.

I finally figured out you to open the clasp you had to pinch the back part open. Silver Pearl Necklace.jpg

Wondering why their naps are being disturbed by their human slaves. Where else?

I just searched ebay for "iran" and there were 60,799 results -- I just skimmed the first page, but many even had "Iran" in the title.

Yet another case of "It will only get yanked if it's yours" Ebay policy enforcement. They do seem to allow Persian enamel jewelry and Persian story bracelets. But... it's iffy. It ought to fall under the artwork exemption, but we all know Ebay and their exemptions.

20190630_1456481.jpg Picked this up for 2.5 euros today. Any thought on what stone it might be? I'd think turquoise, but it doesn't look like what I'd think of turquoise. (Note: that straight black line on the upper right-hand side is probably just a hair.)
