Resizer_15614965023360.jpg I can't find a thing on this one and I'm really intrigued by it.
I think (not sure) that it's made of cast iron. It's about 5 1/2" long.
Please, any help would be appreciated!

Looks modern and decorative to me.

    What's considered modern?

Probably within the last 20 years. It's not meant to be functional...just for decoration.

Really? Wow it looks and feels old!

That was my impression too. More decorative.

Can you get a picture of the seams here

I would think that if this was an actual key that was used in a lock, the seam lines would not be showing and the areas where the arrows are would be smooth from wear.
Instead, it has been slightly polished along the shaft. However, the area that should have shown the most wear still shows the casting and mold lines.

It is a nice decorative piece, just not as old as you would like it to be.

    Resizer_15615192181590.jpg Thank you!
It did come with a bunch of other keys (most here). I'm trying to find brands on them and a lot don't have anything on it.

So now I'm thinking a lot here might be decorative as well

Wait and see if Bev's locksmith hubby can give you some clarification.

Has anyone ever heard of a key marked "Showa"?

Well, there are Japanese SHOWA locks...

The smallest ones look like the type for lap desks & other small locking boxes.

I think that your other keys look like old keys.
Furniture, jewelry boxes, and so forth.

The only one I question is the one you started this tread with.

    Thank you for that info.
I've been buying collectibles for a lot of years and I go to a lot of estate sales.
I found this dusty box of keys (it also had a few old padlocks with it) in one of those "dig your way through" sales LOL.
But this is my first time ever acquiring keys and I know nothing!
I did learn the small ones are barrell keys I believe (they have hole and partial hollow shaft).
