Please wait for others with more "lamp knowledge" than I have but . . .

I wonder if it might be what is sometimes called a "gone with the wind" lamp.

I'm curious myself and look forward to others chiming in on your lamp.;)

Yes! We've gotten as far as figuring out it's a 'gone with the wind'/parlor lamp. We think it **might** be Fenton? But a lot of websites with similar listings are terribly organized and we can't find precise info on this exact type but there's many similar ones...

At $25 USD, there is a decent amount of meat on the bone for pickers to make a quick buck on it, and a good price if you like that look. It's not antique. Vintage, but not antique.

Your glass is desirable in the sense that there's a nice floral relief pattern, but the flowers are obviously just a stencil.

You could always jack up the price and see if there are a few takers, locally. The thought of shipping that thing would put the fear of God in most...

    Be sure to mention Roses.
    People like roses.

I would think this dates from around the 1970s give or take a few years.

"Gone With the Wind" is a vernacular term for glass globe and font lamps that look like oil lamps from the movie, thus the name. They continue to be made in the 21st century, although obviously the reproduction heyday was during the crest of the antique craze in the 1980s and 90s.
