Old riding boots?

 

They might not be too old. Do they have any markings inside?

 

Those thick soles indicate ;ater rather than earlier. The rest of the boots indicates that the owner did not remember to clean his boots!

They look like 1920's private purchase Military ( Army, USA) riding boots (officer) based on the brown color......

I was thinking military as well, but British rather than American. Noha is in Egypt, so British would make more sense.

I was having visions of Lawrence of Arabia during his Egyptian years.

 

I think it's hard to give a date. They are still making this type of boot in addition to the custom boots out there. I live in horse country and wouldn't be surprised to see these. They could be older or newer. If there is info on the inside it would be very useful.
