Is Ebay all Messed Up Again or Is it just Me?

I am so frustrated with ebay. I've been having off/on problems with the site for 2 days. Yesterday, someone sent me a best offer and it took me 20 minutes to successfully log in. I kept getting that server not found thing. Also, it's exceptionally slow in loading pages, much slower than I'm willing to tolerate. Lots of keyboard banging on my end.

OTOH, it's been raining steadily here for 2 days so maybe it's lack of sunshine or something. The servers are all suffering from SAD. So depressing, can't go outside. Local flooding, ponding all over the yard.

Is anyone else having problems with the 'bay?

The other day I was having problems with searching, and in fact there were enough problems that I didn't manage to bid on or buy anything. Today the searching seems o.k., though. I have not had any problems with logging in.

Have you done the clear cookies thing yet? Sometimes that does the trick.

I'll give that a try. Today, I tried to access the PGP forum and it wouldn't let me click on any of the posts. Well, I could click, but nothing happened.

I was unable to even access the site yesterday around noon MST. I tried 4 or 5 times from bookmark, and got a "site not found" message. Never had that happen before. Working okay today, but I haven't tried to list anything yet.

Yes, I was also getting the Site not Found message yesterday. I wonder if parts of ebay went dark?? Today it's really slow and I'm taking a break from it.

I got the Page not found thing from the favorites images on my Chrome home page for a while. Never did find out why. If I typed the address in, no problem.

Ok here today with Firefox as browser. Did notice all the problems the other day, Thursday I believe. We had a couple of items end, and activity was less than expected.

Sometimes (but not always) I find it helps to try a different browser.

Hate to hear that. I was having trouble with searches towards the end of the day, but had hoped it didn't effect bidding as well. We had two pieces that I expected to get some late bids, but neither did. eBay activity seems slow now, but summer is usually a slow time.

It's been streaky for me. Sometimes things sit for months, and sometimes I sell a pile in 24 hours. Search being messed up, again, doesn't help anyone. Ebay seems to have figured that one out finally. The more people can sell the more money Ebay makes. Pretty simple, but they aren't all that bright over in headquarters.

We see that too. Sometimes lots of activity, bids, feedback being left for us, watchers and page view hits. Other times, it will get real dead with little happening. The ebb and flow is hard to predict. Friday and Saturday are usually the slowest days of the week.

It was both searching and bidding for me. I think the searching was worse.

I didn't try bidding during that period. Search was totally broken.

Ebay has been a mess (more so than usual) for the past couple weeks. Search feature is a cluster****

As a buyer, they are NOT making it easier

Sometimes I think ebay is 1 or 2 glitches away from total implosion & meltdown.:eek::eek::eek::eek:

The newest cwap is this product identifier bull hockey. I listed an anniversary glass dish under party decorations which is the home & garden category last night. Even after I entered that this item was not applicable because I had no way of knowing its UPC number ebay kept telling me I needed to add this information.

What are we suppose to do if 99% of the items we sell most likely were made before those things were even used?????:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
