I’m looking into buying these two sets.... i have no idea what these are or if they’re worth what I’m going to be paying... what are these worth or what would you fellow collectors pay for something like these... I’m curious to know the year roughly of the silver and crystal set,... thank you very much

Do you know if that is Sterling, or Silverplate?

Welcome... Both appear to be wine sets.
It is hard to tell on your first set whether the cuts are polished or not. If unpolished, probably 'recent' 1980s+ European. Is the silver marked?
The second set looks like hand enameled. Do the stoppers fit right or do they tilt like shown. That type of glass is usually called Czech but Italy also made a lot. Check out Empoli.
If possible in the future, pictures against a plain background are best but we know it is not always possible.

I am picking it up tomorrow and will know more about them then. Thank you so much for your insight. She’s asked 75 a piece... would you say that’s a fair price? I do love them both very much but if it’s totally not worth it it’d be nice to know :) thank you so very much

I'm not the one to ask, sorry. I am here to learn too. Part of the adventure, though, is to examine the things you want to acquire and determine their worth by looking for information on the piece.
There is a silver forum here that might be valuable for you to look at as they discuss silver marks. @patd8643 was suggesting you look to see if the cuts were polished to determine if this is a new piece or a vintage or antique piece. Searching the web based on Empoli might give you some prices to guide you also. Having information will put you in a better bargaining position. If you can wait, see if other knowledgeable members weigh in. I am always amazed as to what the members know.

I agree with Pat, the 2nd set could be from Italy, and I don't think very old from the finish on the stem. The finish on the decanter reminds me of the glass with a stain on it? Looks like one glass has a broken stem in the photo. Is it one decanter or two with that set? If it is one decanter and maybe 4 glasses I wouldn't pay more than $40, but I'm cheap:)

In the photo of the 1st set, the decanter doesn't match the design on the glasses, looks like silver-plate to me. Hard to tell from the photo but the decanter might be pressed rather than cut glass

Brooke, I'm with others in that I wouldn't pay over $40 for either if that but I'm cheap, too. If you plan on keeping them then perhaps price doesn't matter as much. If you plan to resell them then it is ALL about purchase price and a sharp eye on condition and match. Good luck.
