My parents lived in England and purchased the frontroom chest, writing desk and chair before they came to the United States back in the early 1970s. The bedroom chest would be from the US and much newer.

    1) The writing desk is approximately 46" wide, 26" deep and 42" high. I couldn't find any markings on it, but they could be on the back. If memory serves, the top part lifts off the main desk and there might be something under it.

    2) The Front room chest is from England I think. Couldn't find any markings on it. I didn't measure it, not sure why ;(

    3) The bedroom chest is newer. It's 34" wide, 18" deep and 46" high.

Any help you all could provide would be much appreciated.

Many US makers mark the inside of one of the upper drawers.

The front room chest is known as a Campaign Chest, could be Anglo Indian.

Davey beat me to it on the Campaign chest. They were designed to be moved during military campaigns. That being said i have one my father had made in 1980 before he left Jakarta . Different style but same hardware.

Yep-The desk & chair are beauties.
Whenever I run into a really fine piece of antique Anglo Indian furniture (I can't afford),I'm always stunned by the workmanship. We've got a good vintage Moroccan spindle/lattice chair-but the Anglo Indian's another level,it's like the finest Chinese Export Silver-NUTS.Look up the high end pieces on 1st Dibs, then the discount stuff on Ebay-the carving on top tier stuff's wild.

This is why I will always love "brown" furniture!

Your modern bedroom chest looks to be solid cherry with a brown stain. It is in a quasi-Chippendale style. Many companies made similar and, without a mark, it would be hard to attribute. Quality looks to be good and I would think a smaller company specializing in solid wood made this as opposed to one of the large mainstream companies.

Sorry for the late reply, been taking care of my dad's stuff.

Had a chance to pack up his furniture. Was really on the fence with what to do with the writing table. I don't have a need for it, and it's a large piece of furniture. Was considering donating or even selling it. Finally made the decision to take it home and figure it out later.

Took the top off and couldn't find any markings on it.

I think you're wise to ponder. It's so nice that I think you'd regret its passing.
