The marks on the first piece are Egyptian marks for 80[0] silver. I would not be surprised if there is a partial mark on the pin stem, possibly a full set of 3 marks: fineness/assay office; national mark for silver; date letter.

Definitely something for tourists. As has already been noted, Nefertiti is the passenger; Nekhbet is on the bow. It's a hodgepodge of Egyptian stuff, including the ankh & the lotus blooms & the eye of Horus. The boat is probably the one that takes souls to the after world.

Thought at first the cameo is Czech glass, but on closer inspection think it is hardstone, with what I call a traumatic rhinoplasty.

I love that paddle/oar is a lotus blossom. I assume it’s an oar at least. Cool piece!

Love the green German stone. The flower painted porcelain is very nice too, much nicer than most I see.

Flower painted ones were often hobbyist. That's a very nicely done one.

I'm glad you cleared up the mystery of the marks. I will search down an Egyptian mark site and do some investigating.
It's good to know that the cameo is damaged. It's really a shame. I wasn't sure because the other one had a low profile nose.

I looked them up and you are right it is better than the ones I saw on the web. @evelyb30 was right - the stone is chrysoprase. I found similar once she mentioned it.

I know you see more of these than I do, so that's very helpful.

I put up a pretty good one when eBay had guides. Too bad they took them all down. Prior to 1946 the Egyptian national mark for silver was a cat; it then changed to a lotus. The mark for gold is an ibis. Date letters were originally in Roman, changing over to Arabic in 1940.

I don't have a good reference for assay office marks; think @Any Jewelry does though.

Perfect. This is very helpful. Thank you. I can use this to figure out the date.

You are so right. 925 and also there are marks. I'll try to figure them out. Thanks very much.

From the photo I can see there are marks on the pin stem, but too small to read.

The part that sticks into your clothing. Sneaky makers and countries often put marks there since that makes them nearly impossible to read.

Love the Egyptian boat, such a quirky thing. I like the way they crammed just about everything of historical importance on it.:joyful:

That painted porcelain brooch is a beauty.
I do, but since there are often minute differences, I need to be able to 'read' the top of the mark. Kiko, if your friend could clean one of the marks, I will probably be able to recognize it.
A lot of these were made in Alexandria.
I don't see any date marks. Egyptian jewellery doesn't always have full marks, although their marking is much more thorough than many other countries.
    My guess is 1940s though.
Could be maker's marks. On souvenir jewellery they are rarely of importance.

The sterling German pin with the green stone might be chrysoprase. It has a similar translucent property

I find that maker's marks are extremely rare, but have many times seen a row of 3, necessarily partial, marks on pin stems. We'll have to wait & see about these.
