Small painted vase - I have no idea

    So possibly not marked because they were meant for local consumption rather than export?

    Oh, sorry, completely forgot about the country of origin rules. Perhaps contemporary to the nicer pieces then but not of the quality to be worth marking? I think there's too many of them turning up (at least around here) for them to have been meant only for local consumption?

    My immediate impression was German/Austrian. Very pretty piece no matter what it is.

    I was thinking maybe the unmarked ones were circa 1880s and marked ones 1890s or later, so they had to have a country of origin mark. Do those decades make sense for these pieces?
