Hey guys I haven't been on in awhile at least not to post anything but none the less I am still here. I have been super busy with my auction company. So far things have been going pretty good. I have my first real live auction coming up in July I am a little nervous but super excited. It is an estate auction and it is going to be so big. It is for everything in a packed 3 bedroom house plus all the contents of a 40' storage trailer. We just started going through the storage trailer. So many cool things. There is an old Manley Popcorn Machine form the 40's which is pretty neat. There is also an old coke machine but there is also a lot of knick knacks. Here are a couple of the things I have come across I haven't really taken a lot of pictures yet so this was just some random stuff that I thought was weird or neat. I also found a whole case of really old costume jewelry but I didn't take a picture. Not gonna lie the doll with teeth really creeps me out.

Geez, that doll is really creepy! Not just the teeth, the hands!

Bakersgma, I know the hands I thought were really strange. The head has come off but I it looks like it is easy enough to reattach. There is suppose to be more dolls in this trailer which I am really not looking forward to coming across after seeing that one. Those teeth are just too much for me. Never been much for dolls myself. LOL!

Kronos, do you have any idea how that was used or like for what? I thought it was neat but really not sure what they were making with it.

This trailer is so packed we worked for half a day and only got about a third of the way back. I am going back out again on Thursday. Some of it is just old trash like old files and stuff but then there is a lot of just randomness in there too.

    Kingofthings,
We have to start super early and only do a half day cause of the Texas heat. Let me tell you it gets awfully hot in the back of that trailer. It is fun but man it is work. I wish you could be here to help me out too.

Old files and stuff is ephemera

Sell the trash - don't pay to have it hauled unless it goes unsold

Well there is some of that kind of "trash" in there too. We did find a newspaper from 1945. Which was kind of neat. I hear what you are saying though and you're right but some of the items are personal and business tax records from say 15 years ago. :)

I don't know today's price, several years ago office paper was selling for $300/ton to paper companies

    Ha! I'd do it.
I used to live in Vegas so... ;)
The treasure hunt would be worth it. ;)
Good luck and don't get sick!
