So got this from a local flea. Part of estate in Manhattan. Pretty descent selection of high end things and this was in the mix.
I think it should be two owls and most likely cast iron. Very heavy for the size. And I mean very very heavy.
About 10 santimeters high. Not sure if this was some art piece or just someone high trying to create something.
No signature or at least I couldn't find any.
    All ideas welcomed.

Kinda looks like a post-modern funk art piece. There's so many of these 'blob' artists on the Web-Adam Cullen,Alejandro Migrante. If you've got google lens tk a pic of it & do a visual search.Roaring20's here on the Board is the Master of the visual ID-he can definitely help.Hard for me to tell the difference btw the shi* and the 'fine art' when it comes to this style-could be great, could be junior high-it is intriguing though & worth lots more research.

Someone who at least knows owls: the feet are correct with 2 toes facing forward, not 3.

Google Lens showed similar blobular pieces.Lenny are you sure this cast iron & not bronze ? If you can scratch thru the patina somewhere that's hidden (see if you can unscrew from the wood base),the bare metal,if bronze-should be a dead brassy color-Not as shiny as brass, but w/ a brown gold green color.
PS-Most of the modern cast iron owl sculptures I've found are Japanese & much more formally modeled than these.

Check it with a magnet to determine if it's cast iron :)
