Featured Navajo Artist Justin Morris - Any information

I was drawn to this bracelet because of the abalone, which @Hollyblue identified as Paua Abalone Shell. Justin Morris appears to be pretty prolific. While I can see many of his pieces for sale, some are termed vintage, which may just be a euphemism for used. Can anyone here shed some light on his career or the man? I like to know stuff about the things I wear; it makes them more interesting. I appreciate any information I can get. (I know it needs cleaning. I'm working on that.)

That's a very pretty bracelet, I'm a sucker for paua, have a couple of New Zealand spoons set with it... And please forgive me if I'm a little loopy, but didn't sleep much last night, now a bit hopped up on Rockstar - after reading the biography, my often cantankerous kitty Talisman, also known as Mr. Crankybones, getting a bit older now, will have 'Grandpa Bitchittti' added to his nicknames (and kudos to the Morrises for naming one of their children 'Calamity' - love it!)

Agree. And these look dyed to me. Let's just say, someone lent mother nature a helping hand.

 

I bought it thinking it was not a thing of nature, being evenly colored brilliant blue, (which is not as evident in the pictures.) I liked it's delicacy, which is not as common is this genre of art; the way the bottom cradles the upward thrust of the piece - like a flower, and now because of what @i need help found about the symbolism of the silver elements.

 

'Enhanced' is the polite word.
