One day, someone is going to wonder why you painted over such a lovely piece of furniture......

Just sayin'.....

 

I think 30s is about right. The reason you can't pin a style to it is because it does not conform to one of the historical styles. It has elements of different styles.

 

Chi...are there any names or markings on the hardware....anywhere ??

 

I never thought to look at the drawer pulls. They are stamped K6086.

 

I was thinking that if they're original to the furniture they could help date it, & I may be off by a few dozen years.....which looks to be the case .
I'll see if I can find out more....but hopefully others will have a better opinion.

 

I don't think you can identify it from the numbers on the hardware. I do think it original and in line with the 30s-40s time frame.

 

The color is actually greener in person. The pics turned out so blue. I'm happy with it. Veneer is a pain! I thought I'd never get it perfect!

 

I tried several times to post the original size but it kept saying the file was too large. It's normal on my phone screen but I'll try the bigger file again. Sorry
