Featured Coat rack informations!

    Hello All, I bought a coat rack made from heavy brass. With beautiful carved stand. Anyone have any idea how old it might be and what the value is? Thanks!

    Asking prices are all over the place, but seem to have a rather surprisingly high average of around $500 for pieces like this. Folks consistently date these brass coat racks at around 1950, although yours seems older.

    Certainly not art nouveau. Cast not carved. I'd think 1950s -- made in Italy or Spain -- likely.
