My computer froze yesterday and it's going to take till Wed (expected delivery date) to get a new one - so I'm stuck using my phone..
But I'm hoping you guys can help me without a photo (tried to upload pic taken with phone but it says it's too large)
I found a antique key wind made in France hanging porcelain clock with no brand name - but there is a mark on the movement of a flying bird holding something in its beak. Can anyone tell me who made the clock and it's age?
    Thank you all as always!

@journeymagazine Email pics to yourself on phone, as MEDIUM, save from email, upload those.

Could be thirties, could be post war. Not good quality, unusual for French made clocks, leads me to think 1950ish.
The wonky movement would have annoyed me instantly, I'd have straightened it up.

Does anyone know what company the bird symbol is for?
PS - I'll straighten the movement - but getting the screws lined up to go in the back cover's holes was ... frustrating!

As @afantiques said, “not good quality”, I would not list as Japy Freres without further research. :)

What INH said. Especially since the mark is kind of similar but not the same, much like all the fake meissen marks one sees.
