Hi all, Purchased this at auction in a lot..(all other pieces were Lismore though don't think it is Lismore) in 2001. I have always called it a milk pitcher. It is 6 1/4"H and very heavy. Yes--I have searched high and low in all light and all angles..no mark.
Can anyone help ID? Also...there is defect? at handle joint..is this a heat check?

That's it !! :woot: Thanks so much. Maeve was one of the patterns I had put on a note in the pitcher as possibilities!
The "defect" does not look like a "crack" to me...it is smooth looking..kind of "molded" into glass...from application of handle? I am sorry..it is hard for me to describe it well.

So just wondering ...IF I list this pitcher, what do I call the defect I see at handle ?

That is a trapped air bubble. Not cracked

I guess I'm confused about what area is in question. I was thinking the red area was the problem. Are you meaning the blue as an air bubble? If the red is nothing, I'd suggest maybe a slightly different photo as a sale photo.

Updated photo ! I am so proud of myself..defect with close up feature..

There are trapped bubbles in a few places...but this area..kind of inverted "Y" is obvious and of concern to me. It is about 1/4" at widest part near bottom of "Y".
