Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what material this carved eagle is made out of? I know it's not real old but thought it was kind of cool for 4 bucks! Weighs 10 pounds. If anyone has any info that would be great. Thanks!

It might be helpful if you can describe how it feels.
    Cold or not?
If you find an obscure place see if it scratches easily.

Hi, its actually more warm than cold to the touch. I took some closeup of the back and it also has four red plus in it. not sure if thats for hanging purposes or for something else.

It used to be attached to a plaque & appears to be molded resin.

That looks like the eagle that was on our '68 Chrysler Imperial...

Yeah, it does look like that, I guess it's for the display purpose in Car Shops.

The feet are there on OP's. You can just make out the legs & toes if you squint at the tail, which is far more generous than the Chrysler bird.

Do you think this could be from the 60s then? Or newer?

Would suspect it was on some sort of dealer award plaque. Variants of that Imperial trademark were used from the '60s into the '90s, would think that 'cultured marble' casting is maybe late '60s into the '70s, though could be later - a friend who is a cultured marble fabricator gave us a large dolphin plaque for a housewarming gift in 2000 (fortunately the ex wanted it for himself)...
