Is it at all comfortable to wear? Are you certain it’s a bracelet?

Jivvy the research is my favorite

I also question whether it's a bracelet, but I have no other suggestions.

What's up with the two not-quite-holes? Is there anything else on the inside of the piece?

Looks North African, but as to what it is ... camel saddle fittings of some sort?

The holes are there to keep the piece from exploding when it was soldered together.

The inside was soldered to the top part, but can't tell how the top part was made from the photos.

Almost looks like the side pieces were made individually and attached to the center(top) piece.

I’m having technical problems. Can someone please Google
    Balkan Fertility Bracelet? Thanks :)
It looks very close, maybe except the design.

    Yes, southeastern Balkans.
I don't think the two protrusions are meant to be breasts. They evolved from two ends of a long case that was attached to the band of the bracelet, probably an amulet case.
The slanted bands you see on kard's bracelet and the vertical ones on the last example inh posted are reminiscent of the cord or leather thong that originally tied the case to the wrist band.
For the amulet case, think this kind of shape:

    Thanks for the replies.
So, Southern Balkans, some sellers mention Thrace region, so somewhere in Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey... I saw Macedonian as well but I would consider that region part of the first two. Maybe eliminate Turkey as these pieces look more Orthodox Christian than Islamic.
Most of the one I saw are small like mine. It’s questionable how they would fit a wrist, even a small one, as they are not bendable. I saw them made of different metals, quality varies, sellers claim age from 14th to 19th century...
    I’ll do some more research.

I don't think the Macedonians would agree, it is an independent country.;) They recently had to change their name to the Republic of North Macedonia, otherwise the Greeks feared the foundations of their history would fall apart.
But anyway, that general region, Macedonia, parts of Bulgaria, northern Greece. Never Turkey, not even that bit of Europe the Turks are still hanging on to.:D

The national crest of the Republic of North Macedonia:

Did not know about the name change. No disrespect but was there a country Macedonia in 16th century?
