I have had this set for months, because I think it's going to join my permanent collection as a highlight in the Silver Section. But there are so many versions of this set that I get lost in my research. I'm hoping the Mark will tell. It has a C; a queen, a lion, and a M. So, I would really appreciate some help establishing the time frame, and a sense of where it was created. It has 8 elements, several with silver accents and all the pieces have the same "crosshatched" raised pattern on the crystal.

It has a central element where the Mark is placed and which bolts to the wood bottom.

I was jazzed when I saw it. It was at a 50% sale and I grabbed it up.

I'm shocked that the stoppers are all still intact.
    It's really lovely!

Me too. It seems only to be missing some tiny ladles or spoons that fit into these

Pretty sure that will be London 1807 (so George III). Style of the silver and cutting of the glass is spot on for that date, the hallmark is just missing the London assay stamp. Lovely set.

Absolutely agree. Assay office stamps are often missing. Might be Irish cut, a lot of the better stuff was.

Wow. That's so exciting. Let me catch my breath. It looked like some of the Georgian pieces that I saw, but I couldn't find one that was exactly like it. 1807 Wowsa. Thank you. You brightened my day considerably.

Thanks so much for confirming the source and timeframe. It is thrilling to think that the crystal is Irish cut, because being in Southern California, I see very few pieces from across the pond much less an antique Irish piece.

Thank you. I couldn't believe it was just sitting there out in the open on the top of a clothes rack. Usually, they put the good stuff in the case, but even though this had a high price tag, they didn't realize how special it was.

Gaspppppppppppppppp!! Be still my heart. I paid $35. I had no idea it had this kind of value. If I was in a retail store, I would walk away from the price, but once I have it polished up, I will have to move it up on the shelf. Thanks for these.
