Featured Child’s bracelets

No bats or bugs here I’m afraid but would both of these bracelets be 1930’s?. Only reason for thinking that is the similarity of the links in the bead bracelet to a foil bead necklace I have. Chain is Sterling. Beads are glass. Thankyou

 

Curious how long they are. They look too 'grown-up' to be for a child.

 

The one has Murano beads and I believe that style would be considered "wedding cake." Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree but both only 16.5cm long. They are both too short by far for me although I maybe have more robust wrists than generations past!. They would fit my 9 year old daughter.

Well, most European souvenirs date to the age of mass tourism which began in the 1960s. From the look of your bracelet, would think that date likely or a bit before.

I think it is a hobby piece. The clasp is older gold plated which doesn't match the metal of the bracelet.

 

Seconded; I think it's a mash-up. No clue about the chain bracelet.

 

That would fit me. It would also fit many young women in northern Europe.
The age of the silver bracelet is difficult to assess. Similar links were popular in the Art Nouveau and Deco periods. Is there a sterling or 925 mark anywhere? If so, can you take a photo of it?

 

You shouldn't have done that. Every time I look on picclick I get lost in clicking from one to another, and now I ended up buying a pair of gorgeously extravagant Historic Revival gilt cloisonné with Mediterranean coral bead surround drop earrings for the princely sum of 9.99 pounds.

@Debora it gets worse, I just saw the twins of my 'just under 10 pounds' earrings listed for 607.24 pounds. Seller says French, 1860s.
I hope mine arrive safely.
