    Good morning!

I was wondering if this is what they’d call a Chinese /or Japanese watercolor on a silk scroll? It looks just like paper but I see others listing identical ones as silk scrolls so I’m not sure if I’m missing something… any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. 474ACA62-84B2-4C33-B124-96E1F9B53657.jpeg

You're not missing anything, it is not a scroll, and it looks like paper, not silk.
You posted it on its side though.;)

That frame makes me think it's maybe from a home decor store. I could be wrong on that.

Normally an Asian work with inked characters and a red ink chop would be oriented so that the red chop is at the bottom with the character string.
