Greg, Not to get your hopes up but I do have a small Wedgwood piece that might be similar. I think it might be a different style, though. I'll check next time I can. Fig
Greg, Sorry, but the light blue Wedgwood item I have is not the right shape. Mine just looks more like a small vase that widens out toward the top. Fig
Never seen one of these in black. This is the most unusual color I ever had (I think it sold for about $40).
Hi, That is lilac and it is a pretty color. My favorite color one is teal I bought my black one in London back in the 70s. greg
Hi Greg ~ I love just about anything with that Urn shape, so it's something I always look for anyway. I usually buy all of the affordable ones I find but will gladly give up the Wedgwoods for you, should I happen to come across the ones you want. Finding someone else's favorite is just as much fun as finding something I want!
I just dropped in to see if you'd found your urn yet. As I was reading over the posts I was thinking how I find certain shapes very appealing as well. I seem to especially like fat bellied jugs, vases and urns. I'll keep an eye out, worst that can happen if you've already found one is that I'll have a nice urn.
Hi, Nope still looking, why is the black so hard to find??? A few years ago there were a lot of them. I was thinking of getting pairs of them back then. greg
I will keep a look out too. Just at sale with Wedgwood jasperware, no black and no urn/vase cigarette holder.
Hi Greg. Is this it?? Can't really tell the color from this picture. This is from an estate sale in Philadelphia that starts tomorrow, Friday 9.23.16 (see link under pic) http://www.estatesale.com/sales/view/96905.html
Hi Libby, That is it but the wrong color.. I need the black and white like the middle vase. The two end ones look like the grey which is rare and nice though. Thank you so much for thinking of me. greg
