All of mine have 4 links as well, and I have sold several nephrite and silver gilt, also on Etsy, but never for such a fancy price.:jawdrop:
That is not a beast, that is a beauty! It is gorgeous, kyra, you lucky girl. (I keep saying that, don't I.)

Just say ‘ Oh, that old thing, I’ve had it for years!’ I use the same technique for ponies- buy all the same colour and as long as he doesn’t see them all at the same time I’m ok:joyful:

:kiss:AJ! As it was damaged (one panel falled off but present!) And poorly described without the key words... I was extremely lucky to get it for 100$:) these usually are 3 to 4 times more expensive :cigar:

@KSW , my mother lost her jade bracelet like this when their home flooded in Katrina. When I found it, the gold parts were slightly tarnished where they were soldered and fastened, so what I'd previously thought was solid gold - wasn't. Hers was a darker green jade stone with the 4 links. Really just think you need to add a clasp, like the one @kyratango showed is perfect!(thanks)

I'm not sure what to do with a water damaged bracelet like this? I'd like to clean it up and wear it, but no idea how to do this?

    Suggestions welcomed.

classic diversion technique! I use it myself!:wacky:
@kyratango VERY beautiful! mildly damaged items are the greatest if it means being able to afford certain pieces that are otherwise very steep!!

Anti, I am so glad you found it. Those little survivors are a symbol of the big survivors.
Try a little silver polish on the tarnished bits. Or if it is tarnished brass, a little brass polish. They will become clean and shiny, and you will hardly see the difference with the parts that are still gilded.

Thank you, AJ, I will look forward to "finding" it again (I am currently struggling to downsize and get everything fixed in my Louisiana home) and will take some Wright's silver polish to it. I don't have brass polish, but could maybe find some "Brasso" in the garage! (OHH NEVERMIND - THAT'S AN OLD AND BAD JOKE!!! :woot:) BUT seriously, thanks, I thought it was trash and just tossed it into the tote of old broken beads and bits! :blackeye:

Ah, bless you and your family, that must have been an unimaginably bad time.
As Any Jewelry above put so beautifully it is a survivor and some things are more important than gold xx
