2 signed glass vases

Hey folks

Can anyone help with the Sig on the first art glass vase

The second one I take is a reproduction, but hey it was only 2 pounds so thought it was worth buying

Any help appreciated

 

Can't help with the first, but you're right: the second is not an antique. But at least it's honest. The "TIP" means it was made in Romania, probably in the '70s or '80s: "TIP" just means "Type," as in "Galle Type." These Romanian versions of the late 19th/early 20th century French Galle vases do not pretend to be originals and are solid and well-made. As you said, worth what you paid for it.

Hi inh, the Sig is very faint, you can hardly see it. Was hoping someone might recognise it by the style

That's the best out of about 20 shots !!
