I found this table at a yard sale for $40 a few years ago. It looks like a library table to me. There is a false drawer and a real drawer on each opposing side of the piece. Renaissance revival? I'm thinking 1920s, but hoping it is earlier. 43"L x 26W x 29H
I would love to hear everyone's opinions on this!

    Thanks @Ghopper1924
It was dusty, scratched and needed a bit of TLC when I got it. But it was one of those things that I couldn't walk away from!

they don't conform to the bend in the wood, and look oversized....
    is that where you're going.....?
    or is it style?

I guess that's possible! Good observation. I took off the escutcheon and this is what it looks like.
Is it possible that the style of the pull was changed out early on, perhaps for the customer?
The plate doesn't fully conform to the curve of the drawer, as you've mentioned.
