    Hi, guys,

There is one thing I want to ask you about. Before a few days, I posted a video on my blog (Antichome) to tell my clients that my shop is the best. (In Dubai) in antiques and vintage items.

Would you consider these three reasons to be enough for me to be the best marketplace for vintage and antiques in UAE?

Khaled, the moderators will probably consider this advertising anyway.;)
Where I live you can never make claims like that. It is against the law. Maybe it is permitted in Dubai.
But, are you sure your shop really is the best vintage marketplace in Dubai? And for these specific reasons?

Questions aside, I think the video is pleasant to watch, and a good choice of music, so congratulations.

Let's start at the beginning. Is this the video's objective: "to tell my clients that my shop is the best. (In Dubai) in antiques and vintage items"?

I ask because... All marketing efforts should start with a clear objective. Without knowing the objective, they can't be evaluated.

Yup. And it also needs what's known as a USP - unique selling proposition.

I do think using real people and their stories and experiences with you is a good thing. Make it relatable.

Your clients, because by definition they have already bought from you, have already formed an opinion about the quality of your shop based on their customer experience. I would think the objective of your video is to reach the wider audience of potential clients.

Your video is just words scrolling across the screen. In my opinion, a video should have action. Perhaps showing an item and a reproduction to a customer and a narration on how you can tell them apart.

Basically, can you think of something that makes you, personally, different from other stores?

On the video, I'd use talking heads. Show some objects, talk about them. Get customers to talk about you. Kiko's idea is a good one.

Yes. If you are offering expertise in selection, so that your customers have faith that what they buy is a real antique, a demonstration of your expertise might reassure them. Get two objects that are very similar except for small details that indicate one is a real antique and the other is not. Have a "customer" in the video that you are showing these details to. That way the potential customer can put themselves in the pretend customer's shoes.
