    Judging by the back, I'd say that it's fairly recent. Mid-century at the oldest. It's a nice brooch!

    Poor humming bird will never be able to probe flowers with that short beak! :)
    Bird lover? I post some every now and then. Used to have 16 chickens years ago then transitioned to ducks. Wonderful pets - I stress the word PETS! This is BOB, he was a duck rescue from a horrible owner. My Mom kept telling me their backside neighbors had ducks and the coyotes would eat them as they didn't give a shit about them - they were Easter presents to the daughter - then they never thought the ducks would grow up? I went there and said I was "here to get your duck" (he was the last one left) and the guy started crap with me but I looked him in the eye and said "Either the duck comes with me today or you are going to meet your Maker" - Guess who the duck came home with!

    Nope Im on a hill with the river down yonder. But I do have kiddie (duckie) pool, but like the guy in the JAWS movie said - "WE NEED A BIGGER (BOAT) POOL!"
