Lol . I've 3 babies twins and my other son was 10 and half months when they were born so life becomes so hectic writing as message correct without the predictive text making a mess of it is a bonus.

I was thinking after my comment about my piano how a sweet little matching table would be just the thing, just like your gorgeous one, Elaine. And at these prices, let's not complain too much and just get them while we can? The ick-ee-ah kids will soon enough be old enough to start to appreciate real wood - the tide always turns!!

 

Lol if you heard the accent it would make sense real irish .I love my little finds it's such a thrill to know you've got something that has slipped thro a auction house hands seen that table over all the fancy antiques in one of the back rooms and said there is real age that has passed thro so many lives couldn't believe asking price. That they won't and I'll make them appreciate antiques well guide them all you can do right .where are u from yourself?

Do you are u in the UK? I've a real wicklow accent but easy to understand some parts of Ireland like cork or Donegal Jerry I can't even make out what tgey are saying lol

 

Elaine, I'm in the states, upper middle. Nowhere near you but I have some buried ancestors in the Galloway region, Scotland and I'm feeling a major tug these last years to go there. I can't just move there though.

Are you . Love the states was in few places but love the little small towns not the city's favourite place was Salem. U should go u only live once as tgey say Scotland is beautiful loved Edinburgh the old town the underground tunnels are amazing hard to believe hundreds lived down there

 

I'm in London, and near an area once and still known as little Ireland. I can tell the difference between quite a few regional Irish accents. The worst for understanding are those heavy Northern Irish ones, like Fermanagh. The Cork one makes me giggle at times, when you get jockeys talking about "hairses" they ride!

Wicklow is lovely, I've spent happy hours at meeting of the waters.

 

Oh god that's my home place that's mad there u are over in London and the first place u mention in wicklow is my home I'm a two minute walk from the meetings pub still there has not changed the lounge and little bar where all the regulars drink and play pool . And in the summer busses of tourists sitting outside listing to the music and having their Guinness

 

I've been there! I remember the priest and half the congregation piling in after Mass.

 

Lol regular thing of a Sunday to the pub after mass u used to walk down for a few drinks on a summer evening and get a lift home everybody does be so friendly down there

 

Well, it's certain I'll visit if possible. I'm just afraid I won't want to come back here esp if things go down the crapper even more. Can you set me up with some old timer to give me an official certificate for staying? aka marriage. But without all the added grief? That's all I'd need. lol
