Featured Thoughts on small (6" x 7.5" w/o frame) painting & signature dated 1946?

I've had this painting for a little while - I'd forgotten about it until I came across it tonight (it's only 6 x 7.5 art / 9" x 10.5" w/frame).
I can't make out the signature but it has a 1946 date!

Any idea who the artist is?
Thoughts on the painting?

I am going through my paintings (200-300!) and picking out about 50 or so to send to auction to make both some room & some money! If this is good it will probably go too (I may end up with all abstract & surreal art in my house when I'm finished!)

It is cool how the people's bodies look like bodies until you get to the close up & see they are just dabs of paint - that was pretty well done I thought?

This is such a charming painting! I love the colors.

 

Imo art produced for the Place du Tertre street market. Likely to be impossible to track down the artist – looks like an Italian structured name. I think the view is much the same as a painting by Maurice Utrillo, below. I'd guess very little value given the huge amount of Montmartre tourist art on the market.

In Dutch we call them "Parijsjes", little Parises, with a slightly dismissive tone. Which goes to show that we see them a lot.
Still, a much nicer souvenir than a snowball with an Eiffel Tower inside.

It was a gift from my mother. So I cherish it. Not much more than sentimental value.
