Featured old stuffed humpty dumpty

    hi folks

    was hoping to get a bit of info on this old small stuffed humpty dumpty

    cant seem to find another one

    cant decide if its a pin cushion, or maybe a small babies toy

    looks quite old

    printed humpty on back so perhaps it was made from a stencil or something

    any help appreciated

    Agree re cutout kit. One can see imprinted "Humpty" on right arm in back which confirms. Looks like someone used him for an ink blotter.

    The common one is Sunny Jim. The originals were 20s, but they got reissued. Some you bought, some were giveaways.

    I’m very far from an expert on the subject, but it reminds me of the sort of thing that used to be printed on flour sacks and the like.

    Same principle. They weren't flour sacks here, but sometimes just a printed cloth giveaway.
