Triangular metal object

Hi all. Just wondering if anyone could please help me identify this object? Do the markings on the reverse relate to the material? Sides are about 3 inches in length. Thank you!

It's a divided shield or escutcheon. Looks like a "Heater" shape. (You can confirm here.)

The motif on top looks like a variation of a fleur-de-lis.

here’s a listing with the same maker’s mark but they don’t identify it. At least you can see what they are asking.

Yours was probably one of a set of stacking individual ashtrays.

 

I would think one of set of four for card table use.

Oh - that's cool. It did look a bit small for a conventional shared ashtray, but can see how these would be an ideal size for individual use at a card table, and the shape would make them stack tidily when not in use. Thanks everyone!
