Featured 'Religious' Hammersley England pitcher/jug

    Hey folks, happy Sunday!

    I bought this gorgeous English Hammersley bone china pitcher/jug, but I would love to know more about this one. I've searched for hours, but nothing like this from Hammersley... if anyone know anything about it, I would appreciate it a lot :)
    Height approx. 17 cm (6.7 inches).

    I think that's meant to be the Canterbury Tales.

    Interesting piece, it leans heavily on the 'Apostle' design jug by Charles Meigh from about 100 years earlier.

    Yes, my first thought, too, but I think OBB has it and Hammersley would be 20th c.
