Maybe I'm reading the marks wrong but I think this 18K yellow gold doe/fawn/deer pin is stamped "Denmark" and "B.S.G" or maybe there are upright bits of gold between the letters, not periods. It weights 5.4 grams and is 29mm high. Rather simple styling. And the pin is upright on the photo of the back so all you see is the blurred end. Can anyone tell me who made this? Is it a doe? Thanks! 18K_Gold_Denmark_BSG_Doe_pin_1.JPG 18K_Gold_Denmark_BSG_Doe_pin_3.JPG

Wow. I am getting nothing. No wonder you asked for help! If you post more pictures I will try again. Google image search doesn’t even give this post as a result, let alone anything useful.

Also the B in B. S. G looks a lot like an 8, and the gold content mark in the picture looks like it says 8k rather than 18k.

    Very sweet little fawn.
    I also read 8k.
Danish gold can be 8k, although I always thought they marked it 333 for the millessimal fineness.

You are so right about it being sweet. I think you’re also correct about it being a baby deer/fawn. I still don’t know who made it, but I think it’s the perfect midpoint between the nosebleed section- Chanel

I don't see a B.S.G, which doesn't mean there never was one. But if you found a maker B.S.G you would have to know the font of the marks and if they have a cartouche to know if your B.S.G was the same mark.

Thanks, everyone! The pin weighs 5.4 grams so I'm confident it is 18K. I will check after work. I found a Denmark 18K B.S.G. mentioned a few places online but when I clicked links the pages were gone or tracing the key words and proved useless; one led to a Bonham's auction, though. More work to do on this--after I get out of work! I'll update you!

I tested it to confirm it's 18K and it is. In person, you can see the straight vertical bar on the "B", it's not an 8. But I couldn't find anything else out. The Georg Jensen firm did a variety of deer, doe, fauns, etc., but that's all I found. Thanks for your input, all!
