What is this wire thing???

    This piece is 2 5/8" top to bottom & is approximately 5/8" across the opening.

    Whatever type of metal it is it does not attract to a magnet. :confused::confused::confused:

    Could be but I wouldn't think it would be enough to pull anything substantial. :confused::confused:

    I get the impression it's the handle to a small bottle. The mesh part was around the neck and the top of the bottle flared out to keep it from slipping off. Maybe got smashed at some point...just a wild guess
