Oh, you didn't say what you were posting back there, so I didn't understand that this was an example of East Asian round eyes. I just saw and thought round eyes as a comparison. Thought she must be an actress or rock star, she's so pretty! :)

I didn't realize Richard Gere is European..? Thanks for letting me know.

    I agree with this, thanks.

She was a singer, Dutch but of Indonesian origin, with very Indonesian round eyes. She passed away about a year ago.
Indonesians have the same diversity of eye shapes as Europeans, but many have slightly slanted eyes.
One of my dear friends was pure Indonesian, part Sundanese, part Javanese. He had even bigger round eyes than the pretty singer.
He is of European origin, like the majority of Americans.;)

Well, there were a number of German factories that made blanks like this, not just KPM. Hutschenreuther, for one, made a number. The subject is very common for these little plaques and often on brooches, too. Thanks, MOS for the origin! IMHO, this is better than average quality and agree it's not top flight stuff.

Yah, Rclinfti, I don't really care about political correctness. I've lived a lot of years without it hindering conversations thus far! I believe the description is the important part, no matter how un-eloquently it may be stated.
