Hallmarks on a ?silver tray? Need help

anyone recognize these? I have been looking for days but I can't find anything. Any help would be appreciated. I can't find a crown that looks like that. Not even close. I'm no researcher though.

This is a maker's mark not a hallmark. Silverplated made by the Birmingham Silver Co of Connecticut.

Any way to maybe date it? Obviously 1957 or newer. Plus I've noticed other makers marks saying silver on copper above them. This doesn't. And what does the REG. under the marks stand for?

Bearman added more questions to his reply after I had already answered the one about date.

Silver over Copper is not a required notation in the US. But it's still silverplated when that is used. There's no office to "register" a mark with in the US unless it's a "trade mark" which is a business name.

 

I thought one could register a logo??
