hello I have a porcelain Wien Keramos madonna mother Mary and Jesus wall plaque that I can’t find any information on how old it might be. It has a model number as 1632 and is made in Austria with a mint mark of f. I’m wanting to know if anyone knows about the company of anything of how old it might be. Thank you very much

here are the photos of the piece I am talking about. I have researched on it and cant seem to find anything. I read that there may be two separate companys with the same similar name.

That does seem to be the case. Or Keramos changed the mark over time.
The Madonna looks 1950s to me.

no. that would be too simple :).
you're probably a bit irritated by the Wiener Werkstätte, which was an association of different companies that worked during the Wiener Secession - which was a bit like the English Arts and Crafts movement, where different companies, artists, designers etc. worked together.
your mark seems to be from the 1920s, after the Secession split up.

Yes I agree with you. I’m not very good with antiques from different countries. But the mark matches up completely, so I Believe you are right about it being from the 1920s. I just wish they had more information on how much it would cost and how may they made so I could know how much to value it at. But thank you very much for your help I at least know a date on it !

what you have is kitsch of no big value.
after the Great War Keramos had a joint-venture with a factory where war-invalids produced simple stuff of no big artistic value. the big money is in the Jugendstil/ Wiener Werkstätte items.
nonetheless you can hope for all the religious people that may like it. if it's Mary and Jesus or eventually St.Anne is beyond me.
    good luck.

I'm Catholic and I love it! Blessed Virgin Mary and the Infant Jesus. She is dressed as Our Lady Of Grace, and collectible to people like me.
