I have to get the photos out of my camera but...woot! Got a pile of goodies at the only tag sale operating today. A Servepro outlet cleaned out some houses and sold things by the box. I got Navajo sterling, sterling flatware, sterling and glass coasters and a NEWCOME POTTERY vase for (drumroll) $20 the pile. I've only seen NC pieces on the Roadshow. Finding on in the dollar pile...((*thud*)) kthnxbye!

Images from today's haul. At least four sterling bangles are Navajo. Some aren't marked. One is Ralph and the necklace is Brighton. Three pieces I need to figure out. I've got my sister here now so I'll be back for questions/comments/brickbats. DSCF8790.JPG DSCF8791.JPG DSCF8792.JPG DSCF8793.JPG DSCF8794.JPG DSCF8795.JPG DSCF8798.JPG

I picked up the pair of lamps this morning, the art glass and sterling I picked up a couple of weeks ago. The Robert Held art glass is a 'Skookum' piece, 10 1/2"H - Skookum was made in Calgary, Alberta from 1978-1987:) The sterling ring box is from Birks

Great haul! Those lamps look to be in really good condition. Must say that the Held glass vase is lovely. I wonder if those Birks ring boxes -- especially sterling -- are increasing I value as that old Birks is long gone.

thanks Wendy:) yes, the lamps are in good condition, just a bit of rubbing to the paint on the ladies. Prices are all over the place these days, the last ring box I had sold for around $150.00, looks like many are selling a bit over $200 now.
    thanks johnny:)

very skilfully done) I thought this bull was beautifully carved. Weights over 3,5kg and 30cm in length. Had a small repair on horn tip.

Absolutely! I was surprised at the prize. The guy didn’t seem to think much of it. He said something about a friend giving it to him before moving away..

He's a buiser for sure. Two bucks was a "please make it go away" price!

It is. I don't think it's any great money, but it was in the box with the other vase, and when they're literally giving it away I'm not about to argue.

It's why you always check that Free pile at yard sales. My total spend at this sale was $19.95 - found nickel in one box.(LOL) I'm probably going to give a historical society tag sale a miss this week. I figure I've hit my share of luck for the month, if not the year, already!
