Architectural Drawings- do they have value?

I stopped by an antique store in WV earlier this week and they had a bunch of architectural drawings for sale. With the ok of the owner, I took some pics and did some research. The majority were completed by the Thirion family (Carlos, Charles, and others), a successful architectural dynasty in Verviers, Belgium. The firm designed and built multiple landmarks in Verviers and also designed residential abodes. I have seen that some of their drawings are held by a regional historical society. What do you think they are worth and how would you go about selling ? Thanks for your help and insights. 20220907_113129.jpg 20220907_112958.jpg 20220907_113339.jpg 20220907_113347.jpg

They're popular framed out and used as office art. Not sure if they're valuable on their own.

I've seen architectural plans come up for sale occasionally, they don't seem to be worth a whole lot generally. Exceptions could be original drawings of noteworthy structures by renowned architects. Larger drawings with more detail of distinctive features of the building would likely be the best sellers like floor plans or elevation views.

I would think they would sell best to someone in Belgium. Certainly the kind of thing a historical society would want. The cost of framing would really eat into any profit. I agree with the above, when I see them they are usually around the $50-$100 range.

Thank you for your opinion. I will let the owner of the drawings know.
