    Ok,

    I was very wrong with the previous thread (questions/constatations)...so let me try again

    This should be bronze plaque attached to black lacquered wood stand

    This, once again screams to me 1920s :shame::shame::happy::shame::shame:

    Is this just some random boxing plaque from that time period or is it maybe some early on trophy (like bronze, silver, gold)...any guess on the boxer?

    Its 14 cm (35 in) by 14.5 cm (36.8 in) and it weights roughly 700gr (27 oz)

    I think I found one plaque bronze from that time period and that was the only one...but it is not exactly this...so I still have a lot of questions

    Here are the pictures, hope you enjoy...and I hope I am not off point so much like the previous time ;)

    while the musculature seems a little stout for the 20's.....
    the mitts are way to large...

    I'd think a decade or so later. But are those dimensions correct? 35" x 36.8"?

    The dimensions are flipped: 14" x 14.5" == 35.5 x 36.8 cm

    Thank you all, but Debora was right I made a mistake :jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop:
    Dimensions are not flipped, they are 14 cm x 14.5 cm...so it's 5.5 in x 5.7 in
    I have no clue how I made the mistake :eek: it was late when I was posting

    Also, it makes sense that it might be the bookend...however I never seen one like this

    All the best

    Assuming there is no marks or info showing anywhere, have you tried gently removing the screws to see if there is any info on the back?

    Maybe you did what I did and used a centimeters to inches conversion utility....but accidentally put the 14 and 14.5 in the inches box

    If it were mine, I wouldn't fiddle with it. So a book end then, missing its pair.
