Hello everyone! These little frames (5.5"H x 3.6"W) were another pick up from my visit home. The seller didn't know if they were actually of the Art Nouveau period or repros, but I bought them anyway as I liked the aesthetic. I am not sure if they are brass or gilt bronze- they have some weight to them. Also, I am wondering if the screw at the bottom of each holding the little foot has been replaced? As always, figuring out older vs modern metal pieces is rather difficult for me. All help appreciated!:)

I'd say newish too. Victorians knew how to cast brass and wouldn't have let substandard items out of the factory.

Thanks! I actually just stumbled across a few others online that appear to be vintage and indeed not earlier.
