Hello everyone - long time, no post!

I made a stop in Savers today and was pleased as punch to see this on the shelf. It is 12x18 inches. The paper is a heavy brown textured paper, not sure I've felt any paper like it before. Unfortunately it is warped - it was too long for the frame by an inch or so and I'm sure that contributed to the waviness it has now.

Over in the finds thread, Komo identified as a "box of daylight" scene..

I've figured out through some basic googling that SEARHC is the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium - which I believe was founded around 1975 - so this would necessarily have to date to post 1975. Otherwise it appears unsigned and sadly, no info on the back or otherwise behind the poster once taken out of the frame.

Figured I'd post in here to see if anyone has any thoughts as to who might have made this print.

Much appreciate you taking the time to look.

Does appear to be a screen print process, but a hands on look would confirm. # of units printed this way are generally fairly low - 30 to a few hundred in a series. Unsigned and not numbered is often what you'd find in something done for an organization, ect, like what we saw for concert bills back in the 60s-70s. . . as opposed to made for market by the artist. Those waves in the paper can be pressed out by laying it in a large sketch pad under even weight for 30-60 days. The societal theme makes it interesting in addition to being a pretty piece.

    Nice.
It is well-done, and very correct in technical terms, in the use of the forms; the usages are somewhat angular, compared to other artists who might be using softer curves; but not so angular as to be considered incorrect, just lies to the more angular side stylistically. It doesn't call out to me as any particular artist that I'm especially familiar with. But as Komo said in the Finds thread, "not a journeyman artist's work;" but someone with some experience who knew what they were doing.

It might be possible to contact SEARHC, see if anyone still working there knows who did their artwork back then.
