These are 3 (counting pair as 1) more of the 13 art pieces I got today at a friend's sister's house that I need help with.
1st is a WPA (the govt program that paid artists to work during the depression) style painting signed Taber - does anyone know who he is?

The 2nd is a Henri Lautrec like I've never seen before! Has anyone seen one like it? Any idea how old it is? The colors are so bright it looks new to me!

The last is 2 prints that look like ...meer cats? The male is hiding flowers behind his back & the girl is playing hard to get - a really cute set but neither has a signature, only a chop mark?
Has anyone seen these before? Who made them?

Thank you for help with any of these!

    Maybe they were/are cartoon characters?
They have different chop marks - done by different artists?
    Thanks!

The Taber is 1950s/1960s based on the clothing of the female figure.

But looks/feels like a WPA painting, right?

Found this - thanks again Kronos

Iku Nagai was born in Nagano prefecture in 1930 and studied Western art and graphic design at Tama Art College. In their book "Guide to Modern Japanese Woodblock Prints" Helen Merritt and Nanako Yamada date the publishing of his Kappa (mythological spirits) prints to 1956 and after, master printer Kyoto Hanga. The Print depicts a Katta, a mythological creature which is part of Japanese folklore. The style is pure mid-century Japanese aesthetic.

I can see why you'd associate the Taber with the WPA and Social Realism but that dreamy, pastel landscape shouts late 1950s to me.

The signature on the Taber resembles a Gerald Taber signature but no idea if it might be correct. It seems a departure in style from those I've found. Perhaps someone else knows.
