Bit more info the Danish bracelet maker is Buch Deichmann, Jacob Hull and the beads are from left carnelian, garnet, adventurine and glass, and on the far right cloisonné with a silver clasp.

That Danish silver plate bracelet is a vertebra one. I've a honking great big Jakob Hull necklace which was an 18th gift from my Pa's boss's wife. She ahd taste.

The bracelet is heavy and a tight fit for me so likely one of the nieces will have it.

It all looks beautiful to me.I hit the Illwill a few days ago,and was going to begin My first intense (and clueless !) 'Jewelry Safari'. You've all inspired me much w/ your finds.
I meandered for about an hour waiting for a rather imposing lady to leave, she seemed to be 'louping' every molecule of metal/glass in the locked jewelry case. Finally I left...I will say-She was most thorough, and actually was trying to teach the Employee a few things re gems !....miracles do occasionally happen friends.

Try other thrift shops. We have one that is only open on Tuesday for donations, people are waiting at the doors for them to open on Wednesday. Try antique malls and shows- you wouldn't believe the mistakes people make. I bought a 14k diamond solitaire sold as sterling CZ for $8. Bought a diamond pendant/brooch combo for $10- I got a ton that day because the seller put out all the 14k as costume. I never go to GW here.

Congratulations, beautiful pieces! My favorite is the Irish blessing locket. Is it sterling? I like that chunky green necklace!

Never teach the employees or dealers about items. You make the prices go up. She just couldn't help herself. Duh.

20220724_102841.jpg It is 101 degrees here. I have been staying in and organizing. I organized the recent silverplate, working on some more. I pick up the silver chests cheap along the way.

Organized the vintage linens into categories. Redecorated the main bathroom. I found a $3.99 valance at Ollies and then had to get a new shower curtain set.

I once scored $2000 (pawn shop resale) in 18k chains in an antique store, sold as costume! The person pricing the jewelry, and who sold it to me, allegedly "knows jewelry." My local Ill Wills all send all of their jewelry on line. There's none in the stores except pieces from Target pallets.

Keep going Bosko, seek and you will find, just got to hit the right place at the right time! I only go to 3 Charity shops, and only once a week. But if I’m passing by others I will visit in the off chance there might be something to buy. Rest of the time it’s jumbles, fetes, car boot.

Yes it is silver. Maybe some things on the chunky necklace looked edible to me at the time, burger and blancmange! Really random bits and pieces that sort of work together. Still not one I would wear except for fancy dress or something.

Around here that would sell handily in a local consignment store. Some ladies of a certain "vintage" favor the style.

I have a friend who does ebay. He told me he sold all his costume gold-plated rings marked 14kp locally. I blanched, then he blanched, when I explained the kp means karat plumb. I found a 14kp ring a few months ago sold as costume for $10.

KP is plumb gold, dead on for 14k. For those who don't know, 14K is supposed to 58.5% gold, but makers are allowed to be off by a bit one way or the other. Plumb gold was only around for about a decade and then it disappeared again.

Wish I'd been the buyer on those rings! :greedy::greedy::greedy:

A lot of folks don't, and if they're selling it to me as costume I hope they never find out!
