    Dear Chas-You live in Georgian time machine heaven,congrats! I'd have a tough time sleeping in yr seaside hunk of heaven.God save Us if You ever get a metal detector...Sutton Hoo II ? By the way-that's a great photo of You.It reminds me of David Bailey's portraits from London's swinging '60's.

    Hi mate, never tried my hand at metal detecting but would love to give it a try sometime

    We've got several old Victorian bottle dumps nearby and that's great fun pulling out a piece of the past

    Picture is not of me but of the late great rik mayall, one of my early comedy heroes
