    **Bye, Felicia**

You are INCEDIBLY rude, and I believe you have deliberately & repeatedly misread the information so freely given.

I very seldom ignore people on here. You will be my second.

I certainly hope this James Conrad fellow checks back in from time to time-his knowledge of Early American furniture seems pretty impressive.

It is. And he has a passion for it to match.
But I don't think he will be back.

Bummer-I guess the Forum can get fairly contentious (been there/done that and didn't even know it !). Sadly it seems many of the provocations are unintentional (not all of course),the wrong turn of a phrase,an incorrect word, something misconstrued, 'newbie' stumble, and oh boy !

James' problem was that some people only come here to hear what they want to hear, that there item is a rare and priceless antique treasure. If knowledgeable people don't tell them what they want to hear, but provide correct information instead, they dig their heels in or become abusive. Many of us have become allergic to the eternal "but, but, but" from pig-headed 'treasure owners'.;)

I wasn't referring to Irenka btw, just to make sure.:)

@Any Jewelry: You are the one who is aggressive in this thread. I quote you: "Then both you and Jaena start twisting my words, or conveniently leaving one out, which is my cue to leave this thread." This denotes intention, and in no way did I have that intention. And also mentioning that someone obviously knowledgeable has gone away, I guess from this site, probably due to threads such as this and that he would have reacted very harshly if he had been involved in this thread. What kind of thing is that to say to us? These are terrible things to say to people who are simply trying to share their thoughts. Then you also tell me that this is not my thread, it's Irenka's thread! So now no one should participate in any threads that they did not start? And no one should defend themselves if they believe they are being demeaned or slandered? I believe my comments have been far far more cordial and civilized than yours. You definitely overreacted here in many ways.
