This chandelier came with the house. I dislike it. Mr. Jivvy has much stronger feelings.

Our project house has many projects, but when we get around to replacing this thing, can I cast it to the curb sound in the knowledge that it's not worth anything?

If you expect to find a name on it, please tell me where to look ... and I will do my best.

(Please excuse dust - even with our tallest ladder, I cannot reach the top (much less the chain)).

Jivvy, it reminds me of wire hangers from the dry cleaners!

That said, I'll bet that someone out there is going to love it - perhaps with different light bulbs in it?

Needs glass globes, and not worth the cost of replacements. I would feel free to send it to a metal recycler.

The cost of shipping may be more than what the chandelier is worth and will be a PITA to package up.

You could always *accidentally* break it while attempting to clean it.

You and Mr. Jivvy would get on quite well!

Ebay is the only place I sell, but that's only every few years. Honestly, now that I'm thinking about it, I'm not sure I'd be willing to ship the thing. Packaging it up safely would be a sizeable chore.

Now that it's out there, I think that's really all I wanted to hear.

Oh no, if the thing is to get broken, we'll likely be quite intentional about it. :hilarious:

I actually quite like it! But I agree with JD, it needs glass globes and they're not cheap. Curb it and maybe someone like me will come along and garbage-pick it.

That is most likely. Where we used to live, we wagered on how long it would take objects to get picked up.

The whole reason we bought this project house? There is no curb and you can't see the road from the house.

But people still pick stuff up. :p
