    I received this from a relative many years ago. I think it is angel skin, with blue enamel, set in gold. It does have a ring guard on it. Love the combination of that sweet angelskin coral with the more outpoken blue enamel design.

    So did I do it correctly? I have some more that I will be posting today.
    The mark says 750, so 18kt gold. Wow, that makes me happy.

    I meant to ask, if any one knows the best way to clean it? I will have this resized (tiny fingers) I couldn’t at first make out the last character I thought it was an M, looked again and it appears to be 0, I can be wrong?

    750=18 carats gold:)
    You can wash it in tepid soapy water, dry it thoroughly with a tissue, then slightly oil the coral.

    May I ask what type of oil?

    I use olive, but others disagree. The merest smear. Or rub it against your skin or hair.

    Olive oil is often advised in the Mediterranean (coral country!) as well. It works perfectly. Rub any excess oil off.

    I have been using rice bran oil on just about anything that needs a drop of oil, it is thinner than olive oil, and works just as well.

    @kyratango rubs coral against her nose, which is just as good. Not that I know kyra's nose.....:shame::bag:

    I think noses tend to be oily for some oily reason!!:joyful:

    As long as it is just oil from the nose, and nothing else.... LOL

    When I've suggested olive oil, one or two people have said it goes rancid. I've never ever had that with olive oil.

    Nose and forehead works.

    Olive oil, or nose or forehead oil, thank you all. I think that is funny, perhaps I can borrow a local teenager nose or forehead! I will try a smidge of olive after I clean it. Thank you to all for your great suggestions.
