Featured Pink Glass Clip Earrings

I thought these were a little unusual.
Are they likely Czech glass or from/assembled in a different country do you think?
Thoughts on date too please. Thanks for looking and any help

In the center, probably, the marking will be visible if you clean it?

 

Early 50s from the design. Maybe older; those are old school clips. No idea whodunnit.

 

The cliips may be as early as pre WW2.

 

Might be totally off base with this, but the pink glass is so lovely (swirls in there?) reminds me of a glorious Italian vintage necklace I sold once. So maybe Italian? I agree the clips are on the early side. Very pretty!

@Lucille.b yes, swirls in the glass and lovely enough that someone quite skilled created them. Now you have said Italian, I think you could well be right. I’ve not seen clips like these before.

 

I've got some with those sort of wire backs like that. One set was Ma's and would have been bought late 30s ish.

I'm inclined to Czech glass, it was so prevalent and exported.

 

I am not a pink lover but those are great.
