    Hello all! I bought this trivet/wall hanging recently at an auction. It is by Bjørn Wiinblad, the Danish artist. It has a long inscription on the back which I can't seem to translate (I have tried with text recognition and translation websites to no real avail). I have also reached out to the company itself but no reply, it's been a while! If anyone can read this it could be most appreciated! The signature on the lady art work says 1946 but it says something at the back about 1976 as well so I'm trying to figure it out. Thanks!

    It's something about the plaque being made to commemorate the 30th "jubilee" - anniversary - of one made for Nymolle in 1946. He started his career there that year.

    I don't read Danish, but can pick bits up from the German equivalent.

    That's about as far as I can get too. Some sort of 30th anniversary commemorative.

    Wiinblad started with Nymolle in 1946, so I'd guess this was a commemorative of that.

    I am in the thirtieth year of Nymolle... and then something I can't decipher. His writing is awful.

    This plaque is decorated with the first something I did for Nymolle in 1946. Then something about other plaques he did and this being the thirtieth anniversary.

    Miss you too, komo.:kiss:
    Related languages, so I can work most of it out.:)
    Agree.:) I'll just elaborate on that: It is one of a pair. This one is the very first design he made for Nymølle in 1946, the other one is the very last design, for Wiinblad's jubilee with Nymølle in 1976.

    (I said I wouldn't, didn't I.:banghead: You evil Komo!:mad::sorry::kiss:)

    Edit:
    The first sentence reads: This year is the 30th since Nymølle and I started our cooperation.
